| The Bichon Frise
Get Away and Rescue Ranch, inc. which is home to Fuzzypup! LLC, is the creation
of a business from the love of the Bichon Frise, a fluffy white dog who's
clown-like personality begs you to love him. In 1991 we adopted a Bichon Frise from a friend who insisted that this was the perfect dog for us. Boy was she right! Belle has become the love of our lives. And small dogs, primarily Bichons, Shih Tzu and Shih Chon aka Shichon, a major focus for us. With the placement of our first liter of puppies, we became
grandparents and to keep track of our "babies" we took up dog-sitting, which ultimately led us
to the, "The Bichon Frise Get Away, a resort for small dogs". The purpose of our "Get Away" is to provide a non-kennel environment for small dogs when their hu-families have to travel. This environment also provides a wonderful social outlet for our playful little Bichons, Shih-Tzu and Shih Chon aka Shichon! We have an indoor play area and an outdoor play area. And most recently completed are individual theme suites for our overnight guests. Each guest has his/her own bedroom to rest up in after a day of play. The Bichon Frise Rescue Ranch, Inc. allows space and time to help those that need special attention before going to new forever homes with caring families. The Rescue Ranch has placed 100's of dogs into new homes! A great feat for a family-run "shelter". We have been supported by local and national news coverage for this work. ever popular Shih Chon aka Shichon. Each new puppy
placement brings us new family and friends, and we are living a life most
people only dream about. We get up every morning and get to
work a job we truly love and find personal fulfillment with.
