May 1, 2003 found us celebrating the completion of our long awaited and dreamed about "theme suites". Please enjoy your visit and come again soon. And, if you enjoyed your visit, tell you friends and family so they too can enjoy.
As you enter our suite area, you are struck by the elegant design of the individual areas. Walls are finished with a gorgeous black and tan carpet, and have lively art displays that correspond with each themes attitude. The suites themselves are constructed of lovely light knotty pine, and give an air of class to what some have referred to as the "Palatial" area for their pets repose. The rod iron gates were custom made so "guests" are not feeling too closed in. Additionally, we have a write-on board on every suite, allowing us to write individual instructions for your dogs personal needs.
Our individual suites are nothing one would expect to find in a "dog kennel". For evening use by both our paying guests and our rescue pets, we have gone "to the dogs" so to speak, in providing a relaxing setting for evenings after a hard day at play.
The individual suites range in size from 6' x 5' to a spacious 7' x 8', and can accommodate an individual guest, or provide a larger suite for those who own multiple pets. Each suite consists of a minimum of two custom beds. Each suite also has a set of individual bowls to allow them access to food and water. Pets are fed individually in their suites. This allows us to monitor the food and water intake of even the most picky of eaters, and those with special dietary needs.
Since our resort project was long term from drawing board to completed project, we had the enjoyment of spending years in accumulating just the right artifacts for all our special rooms. Each suite is a reflection of this long-term project As time goes on, we have learned what does and does not work with our "Guests"

This adorable little bed, and others like them, were created by a wonderful
retired gentleman who needed something to keep him busy. They are 22 x 20
or 22 x 22, and custom fit nicely into our smaller suites. We are so happy
we stumbled across these cozy beds on our search. 6 suites consist of 2 of
these beds so if they don't want to sleep together they can be apart... 
we have also been fortunate enough to have a client who does upholstery work and
is now making custom fit cushion for each bed.
This canopy bed, modeled here with rescue Zack, was custom designed for us when
we first began to fantasize about the different themes we wanted to create for
our guests.
These darling
little arm chairs we discovered through our search long after we had
purchased plenty of beds for our use. They were too adorable to pass
up. We added it to a frame and it made
an adorable bed and added just the right touch to this suite.
Crystal
and Joy, 2 Coton De Tulear, are looking comfy in a "Deluxe Suite" which
are 5' x 7' and are furnished with large 52" x 32" beds. Great
for a 2 dogs family or a larger pet.
Buttons
is a happy guy in the "Executive" suite. Its large
size of 8 x 7, is perfect for our multiple
family guests due its large size. It contains a large toddler
bed 52" x 36" 
We have been accumulating some theme toddler beds - a race car was a must:
as was the dollhouse
and the pink princess
bed 
which are large enough to handle
the 4-dog family. Since the VW bed and Fire Engine were too
big for the suites, we put them in the play-yard.
